Biography

Sonia Steidle

The German painter Sonia Steidle (born in 1962) studied at "Staatl. Kunstakademie Düsseldorf" and "Ecole des Beaux Arts" in Paris. As a masterstudent of Prof. Erwin Heerich she has won various scholarships and awards - her work has been presented in many one-man-shows in Europe. Sonia Steidle has turned to the floral world of ours. Dealing with stalk, leaf, flower, fruit and seed, the artist dwells upon time and trancience: metamorphosis, on canvas or slat, the striking tale of the splendor of the being.
